The MEDLEY trial closed to recruitment on 30 September 2026. Since August 2025, 842 patients took part in MEDLEY across seven UK hospitals. We would like to sincerely thank all the patients who participated and contributed to this important research. Follow-up will continue until the end of April 2027, with analysis of the trial results continuing until the end of September 2027. We will share further updates as the results become available.
