About the the DMAPP Clinical Trial
Distal upper limb musculoskeletal disorders (DUL MSDs) are an area of research that has been comparatively neglected compared to other MSDs, despite the prevalence of the diseases. Currently, there are no national treatment guidelines for DUL MSDs leading to an unwarranted variation in service provision. The aim of the D-MAPP study is determine the effectiveness of using a digital web app (Digital My Arm Pain Programme) which provides supported self-management and personalised treatments to aid self-management in the reduction of symptoms and functional disability of DUL MSDs.
