Bone marrow sharing – we would like to use some of the bone marrow from your planned bone marrow tests

You are currently having tests to find out if you have a disease called myeloma. This is sometimes called multiple myeloma.

We are inviting you to take part because you have myeloma and your hospital doctor has planned for you to have an NHS treatment called DRd.

Randomised study treatment – we would like to invite you to continue to take part in iFIT and receive further treatment

The further treatment is personalised based on how well you have responded and your level of fitness.

– The tests show that you have current detectable myeloma cells in your bone marrow (MRD positive), and that you have a suitable level of fitness (fit/unfit categories)

– The tests show that you have current detectable myeloma cells in your bone marrow (MRD positive), and that you have a lower level of fitness (frail category)
