Associate Professor of Clinical Oncology
Senior Chief Investigator
Professor Ann Henry is an Associate Professor in Clinical Oncology at the University of Leeds and Honorary Consultant in Clinical Oncology at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. She is Senior Chief Investigator of the POINTER-PC study.
Professor Henry specialises in the treatment of prostate cancer and other urological cancers. Her research is focused on improving outcomes and reducing side effects for patients.

Dr Fin Slevin is a Cancer Research UK Clinical Trial Fellow at the University of Leeds and Honorary Consultant in Clinical Oncology at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. Dr Slevin specialises in the treatment of prostate cancer and other urological cancers.
Dr Slevin is Junior Chief Investigator for the POINTER-PC study. His research is focused on clinical trials and improving radiotherapy treatments for patients
Dr Samantha Noutch

Samantha Noutch is a senior clinical trial manager, with a background in early phase clinical trial project management. Samantha has experience in running clinical trials in a project management and site management setting for both the pharmaceutical industry and academic trials.
Samantha has a background in neuropsychopharmacology and biomedical science, specialising in pharmacology. She obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Bradford, England.
Mr Matthew Carter

Matthew Carter is a Trial Coordinator at the Clinical Trials Research Unit who has experience working in radiotherapy clinical trials for 5 years. Matthew has experience in trial set-up, site support and database work for clinical trials.
Miss Ella Steele
Trial Management Assistant

Ella Steele is a Trial Management Assistant at the Clinical Trials Research Unit who has experience working in radiotherapy clinical trials for 2 years. Ella has experience in trial set-up, site support and data management work for clinical trials.
Ella has a background in Neuroscience, obtaining a Master’s in Research degree from the University of Leeds.
CTRU Statisticians
Clinical Trials Research Unit (CTRU)
We have a team of statisticians working on the trial. They analyse and interpret the data gathered on the trial to enable us to see how well the treatment we are testing has worked.
